Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Safe and Love Safaris. By booking a safari or tour with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Booking and Payment

• A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking.
• Full payment must be received at least 30 days prior to the start of your tour.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods specified by Safe and Love Safaris.
• Bookings made less than 30 days before departure require full payment at the time of booking.
• All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated and are subject to change due to unforeseen increases in costs (e.g., park fees, fuel).

2. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations more than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus a $100 administration fee per person.
• Cancellations 31-60 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost is refunded.
• Cancellations 30 days or less before departure: No refund.
• No refunds will be issued for unused services, including missed activities or early departure.
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@safeandlovesafaris.com.

3. Changes by Safe and Love Safaris

• We reserve the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, or transport due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, road conditions, or safety concerns.
• In the event of a significant change, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative or refund if no suitable option is available.
• We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by third parties (e.g., airlines, hotels) or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest).

4. Travel Requirements

• You are responsible for obtaining a valid passport, visas, vaccinations (e.g., Yellow Fever), and any other required travel documents for entry into Tanzania.
• Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and evacuation is strongly recommended.
• You must inform us of any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or special needs at the time of booking.

5. Liability and Risk

• Safaris involve inherent risks, including wildlife encounters, rough terrain, and remote locations. You participate at your own risk.
• Safe and Love Safaris, its employees, and agents are not liable for injury, illness, loss, damage, or death during the tour, except where caused by our gross negligence.
• You are responsible for your personal belongings; we are not liable for lost or stolen items.

6. Conduct

• You agree to follow the instructions of our guides and rangers for your safety and the safety of others.
• Any behavior deemed disruptive or harmful may result in your removal from the tour without refund.
• Respect local customs, wildlife, and the environment; littering or damaging natural sites is prohibited.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Arusha, Tanzania.
